We just got word that we can go home! In the end, Jacob actually had a bacterial virus, which might have caused the epilepsy and also the stomach bug he fought yesterday. Joakim and I also have our own theory that the medication we weaned him off of might be a player in all of this. With him being back on the medication, we simply don't see as much of the weird movements as we did last week and over the week-end.
Jacob is ready to go home. He is bored in his bed, and is talking up a storm! I was worried for permanent brain damage this time around, but it looks like we have our little boy back again. Definitely time to go home...
