YES, YES, YES!

We're home tonight. No more oculogyrical crises or seizures in the ICU today, so we got to go home! It's always a good day when you get to go home.
I am starting the count again. How many days will Jacob stay home this time? The worry is that Jacob has come down with a cold. We're hoping he can fight it from home, but it's always an unknown. Suctioning is pretty intense again, so we're going to have to stay close to home for now. He also had a longer seizure around dinner time. Jacob is not 100%.
As we left the hospital today, we met with the director of family services. She had a wonderful gift for Sarah and Jacob. The hospital is working with a painter who does customized paintings for kids. He had made a Nemo painting for Jacob, and a Little Mermaid painting for Sarah. They are really nicely done.
Jacob is sitting cuddling with Joakim on the couch. He didn't take a nap today, so slowly doozing off to dream land. Sarah is content that life is back to normal. My guess is that it will be an early evening for all of us. You always feel sort of pooped out when you finally get home again.
Good night, and thank you all! - Maria.
