PNEUMONIA IN THE HOUSE

Yes, Jacob came down with pneumonia once more. His cold turned into pneumonia. He spiked a fever over night, and we were all up since 4 am this morning with suctioning, and trying to get Jacob's fever under control and managing his high heart rate.
BUT we're still at home! We didn't get hospitalized today. He looked too good even to Dr. E. to keep him in the hospital. The coming days will be telling, if we can stay on top of his respiratory status and fevers to avoid the hospital. We're also waiting for pending blood cultures.
I am very thankful to go to bed in my own bed tonight, and hoping for an uneventful week, just sticking to our day-to-day routine!
